About Life Unshared
Hi, I’m Dory.
I’m a freelancer who has spent years working and creating online. Much of my work involves helping businesses communicate, connect with people, and build their presence on the web.
As much as I appreciate the opportunities the internet has given me, I’ve also felt the pressure that comes with it.
The pressure to keep up with trends.
To create what performs well.
To write what gets clicks.
To share what algorithms reward.
Over time, I realized I was craving a different kind of space—one where I could write without thinking about engagement metrics, content strategies, or whether a topic was “worth” publishing.
That’s why I created Life Unshared.
This blog is my quiet corner of the internet. A place to explore ideas, tell stories, and reflect on the parts of life that don’t always fit into a social media post or a carefully curated online presence.
The name comes from a simple belief: not everything meaningful needs to be shared.
Some moments are meant to be lived rather than documented. Some thoughts deserve more than a caption. Some experiences matter even if they never reach an audience.
Life Unshared is for people who feel exhausted by the noise of modern online life. For those who miss slower, more thoughtful corners of the web. For those who want something real in a world increasingly shaped by algorithms and performance.
Here you’ll find reflections on work, creativity, family, personal growth, everyday life, and the lessons hidden in ordinary moments. Some posts may be personal. Others may simply be observations worth exploring. None of them are written to chase trends.
They’re written because they matter to me.
And perhaps they’ll matter to you, too.
If you’re here to read, welcome. I’m glad you found your way to this little corner of the internet.
And if you’re curious about the work I do outside of this blog, you can learn more about my freelance services on my main website.
